During your stay in the Treatment Centre you will have ample opportunities for day trips.

To begin with the busy but pleasant main shopping centre in Udon Thani offers a comprehensive range of goods and services.

There are many famous Buddhist temples within easy reach of Udon Thani. Also in the vicinity are waterfalls and caves which can be visited without difficulty. A visit to the pleasant town of Nong Khai on the Thai/Laos border should not be missed. There is a splendid market which offers very good value for clothing and souvenir purchases. There are many pleasant restaurants, by the famous Mekong River, in Nong Khai. These offer a range of food to suit most tastes. The magnificent views of the mighty Mekong provide an ideal setting for lunch.

These outings will be organised by the Treatment Centre if required. Guests may of course make their own arrangements if they so wish. Please note however that Thailand can be hot on occasions and over-exertion on outings should be avoided.
